This is an antique Burmese hand-lacquered Coaster set made with lacquer, color and beautifully etched. The cover design is a royal house and Garden scene and coasters, the same. It has 8 parts; a box cover, A box bottom, both with same design and bottom etched inside and a 6 coasters, all hand-etched and hand-painted. The six coasters fit perfectly in the box. It is 4.5 inches (11 cm) diameter, 1.75 inches ( 4.5 cm ) tall each coaster is 3.75 in (9.5 cm) all in pristine condition.

I have had this piece and others in my private collection that I got in Northern Burma in the mid-late 1980s. The piece is estimated to be from 1950 or earlier than WW2 and of a private collection consigned to be made by expert craftsmen of one family for the royalty who required it. Now there is no access to Burma and these are extremely hard to find. This has excellent craftsmanship, fine handicraft work with lacquer and paint materials with unequaled work and the unique beauty of Burmese culture. This is part of a collection of various sizes and pieces, all similarly made, with food bowls as well. Pictures available on request.

Shipping will depend on the buyer's preferences, from registered mail to EMS (express mail service) at a cost of $25 - $50. All prices will be put on the shipping slip as at low rates to avoid high tax and all shipping is insured and guaranteed delivery with no breakage. As shipping is high, I am selling at a low price to help the buyer.
